At Exit Cleaners, we understand the importance of getting your bond back when moving out of a rental property. That’s why we offer a Bond Back Guarantee to ensure your satisfaction and help you receive your bond refund. Here’s how it works:
- Before booking our service, please confirm with your real estate agent which specific cleaning tasks are required under your lease agreement. If there are any cleaning requirements not covered in our standard bond cleaning checklist, you have two options: (a) Select the additional service from the extras section on our booking form, if available. (b) If the service is not listed, notify us during the booking process, and we’ll confirm if it can be added to your service at an additional cost.
- In the event that you or your real estate agent notifies us within 72 hours after the cleaning that a part of our service (as described in your booking and our cleaning checklist) has not been completed satisfactorily, preventing the release of your bond, we will return to re-clean those specific areas at no extra cost to you. To request a re-clean under our Bond Back Guarantee, please provide the official inspection report, along with photos showing the areas that need attention, and we will assess whether the area is cleanable.
- Please note that our Bond Back Guarantee does not cover the following: (a) Cleaning services not described in your booking or our cleaning checklist, which can be found on our website at https://exitcleaners.com.au/checklist. (b) Permanent damage, such as smoke stains, carpet stains, hard water stains, wall marks, mould, rusting, grease stains, and permanent odours. (c) Areas that, based on our professional opinion, cannot be cleaned. See the full list of our excluded services.

Important Notice Regarding Late Re-Cleaning Requests
We value your trust in our services and want to ensure the best possible outcome for your bond return. To maintain the quality and fairness of our Bond Back Guarantee, we’ve implemented a policy regarding late cleaning requests:
- Our Bond Back Guarantee is valid for 72 hours after the completion of our cleaning service. This time frame allows for a fair assessment of our work.
- If we receive a cleaning request or report of issues after the 72-hour period, a $95 late notice fee will apply. This fee is in addition to any charges for extra cleaning services that may be needed.
Why do we have this policy?
- Natural dust settlement: Even in a perfectly cleaned property, dust can settle over time, affecting the appearance of surfaces.
- Property access after cleaning: Often, properties are used for open houses or inspections after our service, which can impact the cleanliness.
- Verification challenges: It becomes increasingly difficult to verify the property’s condition as time passes after our initial cleaning.
